Uncasville, CT: Air Supply performs at Mohegan Sun Arena Private Show Air Supply 6,000 guests experience in its full glory
This is, as all the Air Supply concert should be seen by fans, Air Supply and deserves to be in every arena in the country! Sunday, July 29 6000 Mohegan Sun Casino guests at a private concert by Air Supply at the Mohegan Sun Arena were invited. Currently not available, and tickets were to participate in this rare case, taken by invitation only and AirheadsArena!
After receiving my invitation, I could not see my enthusiasm at the prospect that can provide air to a place of this size. Most concerts I go to take normally air supply 500 people, on average, this would be quite the event for me. Air Supply to testify on the stage, where sound, light and energy, 10 times-I would wait impatiently for the arrival on Sunday night!
A large part of the arena was the ticket room, but some sections, includingours, had assigned seats. We were situated on the side of Russell Hitchcock and had a great view, about 10 rows on the floor. Just below the speakers, we knew that the noise would have been phenomenal. We could not wish for a better place!
Because I've just seen Air Supply Mohegan Sun Cabaret Room of the four nights before, we knew what they expected from Air Supply. From the time, dim the lights and we hear the melody too familiar Beatles 'And' now will not last. "Without knowing that Graham Russell would be the implementation, it was a great joy when he walked on stage and took his bow in the spotlight. Graham was presented to the public and spoke the opening act for the air supply. It 'a great warm-up for the crowd, which is, of course, is always something Graham says one of its objectives: To warm up ... We're still warm?
I saw him perform Graham's future, Make You Mine and Lace & Leather in showrooms very quaint and felt thathim well. To my surprise, Graham offered this great stage and great audience, his voice filling the arena. Incredible! I was incredibly proud of Graham and happy that he is able to show his talent was so vast and intimate. The audience loved it!
After Graham finished his three songs, excitement filled the arena. We (and I mean those of us who had just seen the night before) would be expected that the number of Sweet Dreams opening, but did not know washow powerful its influence would be in an arena of this size. Mist appeared and the stage glowed red. Jonni Lightfoot ran quickly to the stage to press 'start button' to the show is possible. A new poem to hear about Graham and the mood was set. When Graham stopped, we heard the beginning notes of Sweet Dreams and broke the arena with cheers, whistles and screams, this is what came to see 6,000 fans! Russell Hitchcock moments later he went on stage to more applause and the fans wereecstatic!
Graham and Russell took turns in the foreground, as she started Sweet Dreams, and sang the rest of the soft opening. As the song swelled to "Go to sleep! As a kid! Peace profound, for they know not what they give me, I think, for these moments Alooooooooooooone!" Fans have been demonstrated on the legs and Air Supply, that once the group soft-rock/pop Mohegan Sun Arena could be as good as any title host rock Mohegan entertainer! A key to the rapid change belt Russell found the choir "YoungLove "and the audience could not hold his excitement. When it was Russell, the band moved immediately and even the nights are better as they are. For 15 minutes, the public has not had a moment to catch my breath. They sang, clapped , shouted, danced, we walked, whistling and she loved him! The energy field was incredible and Air Supply had more to give. That was just the beginning of the show!
Air Supply rocked this arena, and Russell, Graham, Jed,Jonni and Mike performance was thrilling. But, and there is often, but a member of the band's performance was HOT HOT HOT! Bassist Jonni Lightfoot is an incredible guitar player and talent that fans always like, and makes the girls swoon. Jonni hottie, as he is affectionately called, was in rare form on Sunday night and while you might not appreciate my saying that stole the show its performance. You all know who to give credit where performance is exceptional or not memorable, and Jonni iswas both.
After Jonni offer about 30 shows, is always fun and playful on stage. It is usually routine in the sense that seems to be a time and place for its lightness, which during some songs or parts of the show. Well, scratch that Sunday evening. From the first song, Jonni brilliant performance far beyond any I have seen of him. More entertainment, more animations, more interaction with the public, more joking with pianist Jed Moss and drummer Mike Zerbe, and moreRadio. If you have ever seen Jonni run alone in his chances, you know you can do so, as the best guitarist ever. Just multiply the best out solo this 100 times and that's what you Jonni out of control during the show.
Jonni has encouraged the audience to clap louder, even cupped his hand to his ear and said: "I do not feel" The public has responded and powered Jonni and the audience even more. He has thrown out towels to girls is the guitar fans and moved on stage as if it werebelonged. He shared the stage and spotlight with Graham and Russell and gave him the freedom to do so. Jonni was clearly in his element at this stage and that audience is, where Jonni heard.
To see a little 'what I'm talking about, check out these videos posted on YouTube. I can not take credit, but a big thanks to the girls who sat two rows to us for publishing them! Power of Love Lost in Love Mohegan Mohegan Jonni The clips show the audience, waved bondinga ride on the forehead, the game with Jed Moss and rock. And on it, it really showcases Russell unshakeable voice.
The Mohegan Sun crowd was treated to stellar performances by all. Performance Jed Moss' in the face of classical belief in love was great, and Mike Zerbe drumming was fantastic. And on it, had beautiful shiny new cymbals! We hope that Graham is sweet with these children!
The audience sang every song with Air Supply, and at one point I had to ask myBoy can not sing, just so we could hear singing along with the rest of the scene. There were 6,000 votes at one time all singing together. Talk to a memory card!
Graham Russell and not to disappoint the fans as they made their usual trip into the audience during The One That You Love. I must give credit to Russell made his way through the floor and fans in the stands with kisses, hugs and handshakes surprise. To do this in a small venue of 350 people is a challengeenough, but an arena designed for 10,000? Phenomenal. There's never enough time, and Russell always comes back to apologize to the stage route that could not stop hugging or kissing.
We sang, we clapped, we stood and gave a standing ovation. We were a couple of regular Airheads fans in droves to sing swing, and how we never saw them in concert. We fully appreciate the time and we enjoyed every song, illuminating every detail, every oomph, given to us. We were dragged into this moment and ourAdrenaline pumped. One might think that we had only seen the Beatles.
Thank you, Russell, Graham, Jed, Jonni, Mike, Sparky, Brett, Moe, Nate and Mark. The change from the cabaret hall of the arena you kept on your toes and you have this one of the best performances of Air Supply I've ever seen. During the week you had a smile on your face and the fans have been treated as if they were friends, are welcome at every show. We hope that this show private arena is transformed into an arena show entirely in the public next year. Ibecause you can not wait to see him again!
Cheers!
