New York Opera Society Chapter 4

!±8± New York Opera Society Chapter 4

On this Sunday we are all entered in the account "The Met" is that it was the inaugural performance of the season. A fact that made us feel that sense of joy that take the audience by more regular, every time they enter the opera house made. Especially not after more than three months. It 'been purchased, while inside the theater, we got one copy of the program that we would be in order to see the singers, many of whom we knew personally,Implementation.

Götterdämmerung is the last work in a series of four entitled "The Ring" is. The titles of the four works in "The Ring" are included, "Rheingold", "The Walk", "Siegfried" and "Götterdämmerung". Translated into English, "Twilight of the Gods" would be "Twilight of the Gods."

The opening of "Twilight of the Gods" is a prologue, followed by a wonderful scene, where his two main characters, Siegfried (hero kills the dragon, "Siegfried") and his aunt / lover Brunnhilde;played on this occasion by Kiri Te Kanawa, whose job was to bring life and strength of this character through his voice, singing as they had their sexual inseparable. To hear this air, served by Domingo and Te Kanawa, although not fully understand (as it was in German, a language not familiar with) to be interpreted only want to rekindle my desire to work harder, so that a day I was at this stage has left open-mouthed as my idol and friendDomingo did.

And 'in this scene, taken from the hands of the ring Siegfried Brunnhilde Fafner, the dragon in his last opera "Siegfried" killed, after he himself, along with the "Rhein" on the noble steed, Brunhilde gives thanks for the ring . And 'while Siegfried travels along the Rhine, wrote that we are blessed by listening to what I think is one of the most beautiful pieces of music history. A great composition, which allows us toFeeling of galloping horse of Siegfried, as it makes its way along the Rhine through the dense dark forest in search of adventure.

The end of the first act was to come with us to take some refreshment and to comment on or criticize at all, because if it is something that we liked to do was to find errors and improvisations made by one of the singers could.

I do not remember the exact words, but I somehow I told my friends about the young woman who had justmet. Not only described my meeting with Gosia, but I knew every detail of them. What was of particular interest to my friends, with the exception of Brad, who was not only the study of the piano, but also shared our love for each other's work.

As I expected Brad was the first to make a remark, "So, you have found another player for your ensemble?". This comment to me saying: "I think you have to put up with a more than us." Brad followed seemed to take to my amusement parkAnswer and simply said. "I would not say" bear ", I really like about an artist I feel it adds another dimension to my personality and I am an educated man, which can be beneficial in my line of work. How many of the people I work with make it a habit to come, not only for the work, but the ballet. ".

This comment from Brad's ear like a bell ring Amanda burst "Why do not we see a ballet? It 's time that I have not seen a ballet."This proposal was submitted by Barbara, who shouted: "I'm dying to see" Nutcracker ", perhaps" Romeo and Juliet. "Follow. Brad said he did dancing lessons in her youth, was most certainly be useful to him to learn martial arts and that is why he wanted to attend the ballet. Arturo rather then jokingly added, after listening to the our conversation, "Well, will be unanimous. We all go to the ballet, unless you have objections or Bill? other previous plans. "I could see that everyone was waiting to hear my answer, so I thought what I wanted to say and then with a very relaxed tone, I just said:" I willingly go to the ballet for so long. is not the same night in which I have an appointment, "said Barbara, then in a voice very curious, almost shocked," I hope the future with my girlfriend, is already an appointment with Gosia "?

Arturo bubbles in clay added, "you have no time to lose, you mustmy friend when it comes to questions like these? is. "Before I had the opportunity to tell them to go see Gosia and my plan was" Halka, "Amanda said, almost laughing, but to me," I should know more than anyone else, has never lost time, if is a girl wants (then turns to Arthur and then to Barbara and Brad), in contrast to Arthur, who has so long, that I thought frankly that was either extremely shy and not only interesting for me, not least against wasted. . "When I heard thatWe all started laughing, but what was really happening to us, as Arthur said, "You know I love you with everything you need for your voice over the top.". Amanda is thinking back as fast as you do, that she was reading her lines "And the whole time I thought I only wanted for other reasons.". Kyle and Amanda verbal exchanges were always the same, keeping your hands and kissed, while she had them. It 'been at the center of one of those kisses I said do not disturb "This beautiful scene of romantic love, but I thought I'd go see Halka with Gosia and I do not know if I will be able to accompany you to the dance, but even if I did not go, I can assure you that I will be with you in spirit. "Just as the last bell went everyone to return to their seats, something we've all done without further comment.

The second act of "Götterdämmerung," is not as romantic as the first. So I have just seen, focusing on music and Domingoperfect pitch. During the second interval, we all went into the hall, in America we have some strange and unknown reason, at least for me, is called the "toilet". In Europe, this space is usually referred to as the bathroom or toilet (toilet). Because the lines were long for the toilet, we had the opportunity to further opinions about the performance or anything else the subject of this exchange, there was a break
just time for us to go back to our seats before the lightswent out. The third act of "Götterdämmerung" is that the hail, as both have one of the greatest works of musical theater ever took place and an ideal example of what Wagner called himself "Gesamtkunstwerk". In this third and last 4 hours of this act, the opera Siegfried in the back with a spear through his friend or the man who thought of his friend, "Hagen" is stabbed. And 'Hagan, who manages, despite only one eye to see well enough to take the ring of Siegfried, after killinghim.

The moment for me, I was waiting, was not so much as a spectator, but as a tenor who was killed in Siegfried. And 'before and after Hagen stabs him that he, as he could not forget his love for singing Brumhilde, Hagen went to his sister Gertrude. And 'he who has the same name as my mother share. I always thought that this was part of the work that paid more, she sings the best of not only her but Domingoundeniable acting skills, which was second to none.

This killing is Siegfried's funeral, making it virtually fire rage hell when Brumhilde commits suicide by throwing himself to follow a burning hell, flames rise up and devour not only consume but Valhalla, along with all the gods. And 'only at the end, the girl Rhine, after drowning Hagen, are able to return to the ring that was stolen from them from the very beginning of Rheingold Alberichthat justice is done, and we are left with a feeling of peace.

And 'even while Valhalla is razed to the ground that the music is in his wildest, and we can listen to Wagner, in all its high-sounding, and even if I never had the destruction of Valhalla have seen on stage (which I had hoped my mother would one day be able to change), I still can not do yet, but woke up every time I experience in my head to get through music. I noticed that the finalthe same effect on my work mates mates. While listening to this part, Amanda, and Arturo were on any other operating system, like two people clinging to a rock in the middle of a storm, not to get swept away. Amanda I read his body of which Arturo, knees and almost all of his legs on his knees. As she clung to my neck with long arms.

In sharp contrast to Kyle and Amanda is lovingly cozy location, Barbara and Brad just sat in their seats, a little 'how two people, Waiting to be executed in the electric chair.

Since all this took place I could feel the raw energy running up and down my body. Like any powerful and even erotic twist that made the orchestra, as I have observed not only hear what happens on stage, but between Kyle and Amanda. Are involved in an embrace that seemed almost as much as the final destruction of Valhalla. The idea that Kyle and Amanda has been provided for the emotion of the music or the additionmaybe it was just the opposite, or maybe they were combined. Whatever it was, the current in the room was tense as the last scene was finished with the work of Arthur and Amanda's romantic, I also went to Brad and Barbara brought unnoticed.

At the end of a traditional opera, all stood and applauded, the flowers were thrown on stage and all the artists came out to make their bows to the audience. First of alltogether, then one at a time (Domingo as a recipient of the biggest cheers), and, finally, the conductor (James Levine) took to the stage where he had not only given roses, but a thunderous applause and, of course, as every leader, you will be in this situation. Levine simply pointing his orchestra, almost as if telling the audience: "And 'the recognition they deserve.".

Air Supply in Uncasville, CT 7/29/07 - Performs at Mohegan Sun Arena Event Private for 6000

!±8± Air Supply in Uncasville, CT 7/29/07 - Performs at Mohegan Sun Arena Event Private for 6000

Uncasville, CT: Air Supply performs at Mohegan Sun Arena Private Show Air Supply 6,000 guests experience in its full glory

This is, as all the Air Supply concert should be seen by fans, Air Supply and deserves to be in every arena in the country! Sunday, July 29 6000 Mohegan Sun Casino guests at a private concert by Air Supply at the Mohegan Sun Arena were invited. Currently not available, and tickets were to participate in this rare case, taken by invitation only and AirheadsArena!

After receiving my invitation, I could not see my enthusiasm at the prospect that can provide air to a place of this size. Most concerts I go to take normally air supply 500 people, on average, this would be quite the event for me. Air Supply to testify on the stage, where sound, light and energy, 10 times-I would wait impatiently for the arrival on Sunday night!

A large part of the arena was the ticket room, but some sections, includingours, had assigned seats. We were situated on the side of Russell Hitchcock and had a great view, about 10 rows on the floor. Just below the speakers, we knew that the noise would have been phenomenal. We could not wish for a better place!

Because I've just seen Air Supply Mohegan Sun Cabaret Room of the four nights before, we knew what they expected from Air Supply. From the time, dim the lights and we hear the melody too familiar Beatles 'And' now will not last. "Without knowing that Graham Russell would be the implementation, it was a great joy when he walked on stage and took his bow in the spotlight. Graham was presented to the public and spoke the opening act for the air supply. It 'a great warm-up for the crowd, which is, of course, is always something Graham says one of its objectives: To warm up ... We're still warm?

I saw him perform Graham's future, Make You Mine and Lace & Leather in showrooms very quaint and felt thathim well. To my surprise, Graham offered this great stage and great audience, his voice filling the arena. Incredible! I was incredibly proud of Graham and happy that he is able to show his talent was so vast and intimate. The audience loved it!

After Graham finished his three songs, excitement filled the arena. We (and I mean those of us who had just seen the night before) would be expected that the number of Sweet Dreams opening, but did not know washow powerful its influence would be in an arena of this size. Mist appeared and the stage glowed red. Jonni Lightfoot ran quickly to the stage to press 'start button' to the show is possible. A new poem to hear about Graham and the mood was set. When Graham stopped, we heard the beginning notes of Sweet Dreams and broke the arena with cheers, whistles and screams, this is what came to see 6,000 fans! Russell Hitchcock moments later he went on stage to more applause and the fans wereecstatic!

Graham and Russell took turns in the foreground, as she started Sweet Dreams, and sang the rest of the soft opening. As the song swelled to "Go to sleep! As a kid! Peace profound, for they know not what they give me, I think, for these moments Alooooooooooooone!" Fans have been demonstrated on the legs and Air Supply, that once the group soft-rock/pop Mohegan Sun Arena could be as good as any title host rock Mohegan entertainer! A key to the rapid change belt Russell found the choir "YoungLove "and the audience could not hold his excitement. When it was Russell, the band moved immediately and even the nights are better as they are. For 15 minutes, the public has not had a moment to catch my breath. They sang, clapped , shouted, danced, we walked, whistling and she loved him! The energy field was incredible and Air Supply had more to give. That was just the beginning of the show!

Air Supply rocked this arena, and Russell, Graham, Jed,Jonni and Mike performance was thrilling. But, and there is often, but a member of the band's performance was HOT HOT HOT! Bassist Jonni Lightfoot is an incredible guitar player and talent that fans always like, and makes the girls swoon. Jonni hottie, as he is affectionately called, was in rare form on Sunday night and while you might not appreciate my saying that stole the show its performance. You all know who to give credit where performance is exceptional or not memorable, and Jonni iswas both.

After Jonni offer about 30 shows, is always fun and playful on stage. It is usually routine in the sense that seems to be a time and place for its lightness, which during some songs or parts of the show. Well, scratch that Sunday evening. From the first song, Jonni brilliant performance far beyond any I have seen of him. More entertainment, more animations, more interaction with the public, more joking with pianist Jed Moss and drummer Mike Zerbe, and moreRadio. If you have ever seen Jonni run alone in his chances, you know you can do so, as the best guitarist ever. Just multiply the best out solo this 100 times and that's what you Jonni out of control during the show.

Jonni has encouraged the audience to clap louder, even cupped his hand to his ear and said: "I do not feel" The public has responded and powered Jonni and the audience even more. He has thrown out towels to girls is the guitar fans and moved on stage as if it werebelonged. He shared the stage and spotlight with Graham and Russell and gave him the freedom to do so. Jonni was clearly in his element at this stage and that audience is, where Jonni heard.

To see a little 'what I'm talking about, check out these videos posted on YouTube. I can not take credit, but a big thanks to the girls who sat two rows to us for publishing them! Power of Love Lost in Love Mohegan Mohegan Jonni The clips show the audience, waved bondinga ride on the forehead, the game with Jed Moss and rock. And on it, it really showcases Russell unshakeable voice.

The Mohegan Sun crowd was treated to stellar performances by all. Performance Jed Moss' in the face of classical belief in love was great, and Mike Zerbe drumming was fantastic. And on it, had beautiful shiny new cymbals! We hope that Graham is sweet with these children!

The audience sang every song with Air Supply, and at one point I had to ask myBoy can not sing, just so we could hear singing along with the rest of the scene. There were 6,000 votes at one time all singing together. Talk to a memory card!

Graham Russell and not to disappoint the fans as they made their usual trip into the audience during The One That You Love. I must give credit to Russell made his way through the floor and fans in the stands with kisses, hugs and handshakes surprise. To do this in a small venue of 350 people is a challengeenough, but an arena designed for 10,000? Phenomenal. There's never enough time, and Russell always comes back to apologize to the stage route that could not stop hugging or kissing.

We sang, we clapped, we stood and gave a standing ovation. We were a couple of regular Airheads fans in droves to sing swing, and how we never saw them in concert. We fully appreciate the time and we enjoyed every song, illuminating every detail, every oomph, given to us. We were dragged into this moment and ourAdrenaline pumped. One might think that we had only seen the Beatles.

Thank you, Russell, Graham, Jed, Jonni, Mike, Sparky, Brett, Moe, Nate and Mark. The change from the cabaret hall of the arena you kept on your toes and you have this one of the best performances of Air Supply I've ever seen. During the week you had a smile on your face and the fans have been treated as if they were friends, are welcome at every show. We hope that this show private arena is transformed into an arena show entirely in the public next year. Ibecause you can not wait to see him again!

Cheers!

!±8± The Ovation guitar - The origin of the Ovation guitar Revolutionary

The Ovation guitar was a revolution in the history of violin making. His innovations include the use of synthetic materials used in the construction of the guitar, which mathematically constructed "disconnect" the use of on-board preamp and piezo pickups, and the series of offset holes Adamas. This article provides an overview of the origins of this American original, and its cheaper cousin, the guitar Applause.

Charles Kaman, an aeronautical engineer and amateur guitarist,Born 1917 He played guitar from an early age, and studied aeronautical engineering at the school. After college he worked in the design of a helicopter. Eventually, Charlie was a national competition for guitar and made it to the final. As a result he was given the opportunity to guitar with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra to play. Dorsey offered him a job in the band, but was forced Kaman Aviation and rejected.

In 1945 Charlie founded his own design firm Helicopter, KamanAircraft. The company was a great success and has grown steadily into bankruptcy in 1960, when the commercial aircraft division. Consequently, Kaman looking to diversify outside the aircraft, and defense business.

During this period, he got his deformed Charlie Martin Martin Guitar factory for repair. He visited the facility, and was shocked that Martin guitars built by hand with a hammer, glue and clothespins. He has offered to buy the company and the modernizationProduction, but declined to CF Martin and Martin wanted to keep a family affair.

Kaman has decided to start its production activities guitar. He assembled a team of engineers, aviation, the ideal of designing acoustic guitar.
